The Department of Electrical and Information Engineering offers the following services to the university community and the general public at our Calibration and Testing Centre:
1. Calibration of AC/DC measuring equipment
2. Calibration of frequency and time measuring equipment’s
3. Calibration of temperature measuring equipment
The Centre is at the tail end of accreditation.

EDUCATIONAL TRIP BY EAST AFRICA INSTITUTE OF CERTIFIED STUDIES

The EAST AFRICA INSTITUTE OF CERTIFIED STUDIES  students pursuing Diploma and certificate courses paid a visit to the department on Friday 7^TH July 2023.

The senate has approved the revised syllabus for BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering programme. This syllabus will be implemented starting with the first years who will join  in September 2022.

University of Nairobi, University of Arizona and Space Trust have partnered  to develop a series of Earth-orbiting space craft built by university students as a frontier for peace. The peace satellite project, 0G2030, which stands for zero gravity, aligns itself with the UN 2030 agenda for sustainable development.
