ADVERTISEMENT FOR PART TIME LECTURER POSTS IN THE DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRICAL AND INFORMATION ENGINEERING
The Department of Electrical and Information Engineering invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals to serve as Part-Time Lecturers in the following areas:

3. Electronics and Microprocessors 2
4. Project Management 1
5. Telecommunications 1
6. Electric Circuits and Principles 3
7. Digital Signal processing 1
8. Entrepreneurship 1
Key Responsibilities
- Teach and examine allocated courses.
- Co-supervise students research (for those teaching postgraduate courses).
- Mentor students.
- Perform any other duties allocated by the Chairman of the department from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications
For consideration to be registered as a prospective part-time lecturer, one must have:
1.An earned PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or in a closely related Engineering program from an accredited and recognized University by the University of Nairobi Senate,
2.At least two (2) years of teaching experience at an CUE accredited University or its equivalent,
3.Registration by the Engineers Board of Kenya,
4.At least 8 publication points from peer-reviewed journals,
5.Demonstrated experience teaching in a face-to-face environment
6.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
OR
- A Master degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or in a closely related Engineering program from an accredited and recognized University by the University of Nairobi Senate,
- At least two (2) years of teaching experience at an CUE accredited University or its equivalent,
- Registration by the Engineers Board of Kenya,
- Demonstrated experience teaching in a face-to-face environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
- Provide evidence of registration for a relevant Doctoral study.
