The senate has approved the revised syllabus for BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering programme. This syllabus will be implemented starting with the first years who will join in September 2022.

Engineering students from the University of Nairobi (UoN) are among students from other universities set to benefit from a mentorship programme organized by the Institution of Engineers in Kenya (IEK).

Today the department hosted a group of Starehe girls from kiambu who were on an education visit to the university. They toured various labs in the department whereby they were taken through the various activities that take place in the labs. They were accompanied by their physics teacher Mr. Mwai. The tour will help them make informed career choices
