The second years had another chance to visit Olkaria geothermal power station to learn the geothermal power production.

Before this visit, they visited Ngong wind power. This enables them to use the knowledge learnt in class to critically analize and compare with the real happenings in the field.

The graduation date has been set to take place on Friday, September 2nd, 2016 at the chancellors court.

Graduands will be drawn from the colleges of Education and External Studies (CEES), Biological and Physical Sciences (CBPS), Architecture and Engineering (CAE) and Agriculture and Veterinary Studies (CAVS).
All PhD Candidates from all the colleges and campuses of the university that will have received their letter of awards by August 5th, 2016 will also graduate.

This has been an annual event that has been happening for the last four or so years. The donation worth over KShs. 60,00.00 came from both the staff and students.

The students organised on their own and the requested the college for the transport throught the department.
