The Department received a visiting Professor, Prof. Chris Hendriks from Netherlands to conduct training on Raspberry Pi program for both the staff and the Post graduate students. This is geared towards enhancing the use of Robotics.

The department has been engaged in various activities ranging from Research, consultancies and even servicing other Universities through conducting Lab exercise to their students.
This has been enabled by the department receiving donation of equipment through MOEST/ADB Project.
