The Prime Minister of Italy H.E. Matteo Renzi gave a public Speech at the University of Nairobi on Wednesday, July 15, 2015. During his speech on “Challenges of Development: Building Bridges to Combat Extremism, he emphasized that students were the leaders of tomorrow, in that they possessed the ability to create a new vision in the world. He further urged them to be leaders and not only followers of others.

He also informed the audience that terrorist chose their targets to pass their message through and we shouldn’t allow these terrors to interrupt our values and future. He advised them to use their intelligence to invest in ways that make a big difference in other people’s lives. He further urged them to invest in the future, to invest in education and to invest in the university.
